DIHI Scholar
Srijan Bhasin is a Clinical Research and Innovation Scholar from the Duke University School of Medicine who primarily focuses on our work creating concise summaries of physician communication at handover in the Cardio-thoracic ICU. He has also helped expand our educational and outreach efforts through RFA project support and collaboration with our Health AI Partnership team. Clinically, Srijan is passionate about using his skillsets in statistics, data management, and interdisciplinary communication to optimize procedural care outcomes for some of our youngest pediatric patients.
Before joining DIHI, Srijan completed a research fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke within the NIH network and, more recently, a year of neuroradiology research at Singapore General Hospital through the Duke-Singapore Student Scholar Fellowship. Outside of DIHI, Srijan enjoys spending time with his black lab Sheru, driving his manual car, and dancing Bhangra! When you see him, be sure to ask him about maximizing the efficiency of caffeine intake without subjecting oneself to a bitter brown liquid.
