Data Scientist

Samyukta Palle is a data science engineer who drives the design and implementation of real-time machine learning solutions to streamline clinical workflows and enhance decision-support systems. In her role, she wears multiple hats—integrating project planning, software engineering, machine learning, and MLOps—to develop AI tools that are both safe and equitable, ultimately delivering significant improvements for the healthcare community. Samyukta also wears multiple hats by supporting not only DIHI but also the Spae Lab (PI: James Jung MD PhD) in the Department of Surgery. Samyukta recently graduated from Duke University with a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence.

Outside of work, she enjoys long walks and is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of hot chocolate, with Angelina Paris from NY being her current favorite. She also loves exploring new music genres, immersing herself in the Marvel and Harry Potter universes, and experimenting with new cuisines in her cooking adventures.
