DIHI Scholar

Kira is a third-year medical student at Duke and a 2021-22 DIHI scholar. Her primary project this year will be Predicting Hospital Admissions and Emergency Room Visits from Immune-Related Adverse Events. Before coming to Duke, Kira graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and spent three years in a translational oncology research lab in Boston. She hopes to pursue a career in Internal Medicine. In her free time, Kira enjoys orchestrating book clubs, going on hikes, and trying new board games. You can currently find her working on her Wingspan strategy.
