Academic Focus: Computer Science

• Developed the front end for a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) tool deployed within Duke Hospital using Streamlit, a Python framework. This tool will be available and used by 30,000 Duke Hospital Employees.
• Conducted research on prompt engineering and implemented locally run Ollama large language models (LLMs) using Python in coordination with a multidisciplinary research team.
• Gained expertise in development environments, containerization frameworks (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and rapid prototyping, enabling efficient deployment and iteration of software solutions.
