The inpatient and acute care settings have been a primary focus of innovative solutions at DIHI, where real-time clinical decision support for a care team can change a patient’s trajectory and prevent adverse outcomes during or after the hospitalization. Specifically, DIHI has progressed a portfolio of innovations to support the early detection of clinical deterioration (e.g., inpatient and 30-day mortality, sepsis, cardiac decompensation) medication and procedural safety, and operational improvements. Through this work, we have come to appreciate the power of delivering expertise-driven clinical recommendations to the right care team early.
