While each innovation is unique in its implementation, we at DIHI generally look to pilot in a specific setting (e.g., a specific department in a single hospital), which has been identified to have a high impact potential with the solution. However, the goal of innovation implementation is to rapidly refine and expand on the pilot to achieve an integrated solution across Duke Health System. Each care setting is an important part of the care continuum, and our goal is to make our innovations accessible everywhere they can add value for our patients and care providers.
