Clinical Implementation Lead

Jiunn-Tyng (Tyng) serves as Clinical Implementation Lead at DIHI. He works on translating AI tools into clinical workflows and supporting the responsible adoption of AI across Duke Health. Before joining DIHI, Tyng completed his M.A. in Applied Ethics and Science Policy at Duke, where he focused on the ethical and regulatory dimensions of medical AI and neurotechnology. He holds an M.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to Duke, Tyng practiced medicine as a general internist at Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center in Taiwan and completed postdoctoral training at the Center for AI in Medicine, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.
Outside of work, Tyng enjoys reading, making hand-drip coffee, and staying connected to family back in Taiwan.
