Ciera Thomas is a Research and Product Manager at the Duke Institute for Health Innovation, where she partners with external collaborators to advance cutting- edge health AI solutions and build strategic alliances. With a Master of Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill, Ciera is committed to advancing health equity through innovative research, community engagement, and capacity building.

Before joining the DIHI team, Ciera worked at the JSI Center for Health Information, Monitoring, and Evaluation where she supported qualitative research and developed technical guidance for global health research and evaluation. Her diverse expertise includes skills in data analysis and visualization, health education, and stakeholder engagement. At DIHI, Ciera aims to drive innovations that enhance quality of and access to care.

Outside of work, Ciera enjoys discovering hiking spots in and around the Triangle, trying new foods, and spending time with her partner and friends. She’s recently developed a taste for the Orange Cardamom Cold Brew at the Liturgy Beverage Company down the street, making it a Monday morning ritual.
