Dr. Geoffrey S. Ginsburg is the founding director for Genomic Medicine at Duke and assumed his current position in the Duke Institute for Genome Sciences & Policy in 2004. He is also the founding executive director of the Center for Personalized Medicine established in the Duke University Health System in 2010.

Dr. Ginsburg’s research interests are in the development of novel paradigms for developing and translating genomic information into medical practice and the integration of personalized medicine into health care.
