Solutions Architect
Matt is a Systems Architect who enjoys contributing to the entire software solution life-cycle – with a special interest in backend data architectures and Web services design. He joined DIHI in December of 2019, and has been focused on architectures that facilitate the development and deployment of machine learning solutions.
Prior to joining DIHI, Matt worked with Duke Crucible where he engineered a data pipeline that integrates clinical, sample inventory, and assay data for a registry of surgical patients. He also led the technical implementation of a Web services API that allows data scientists to retrieve medical images and associated meta-data. He is leveraging this image experience with DIHI, as they look to integrate image meta-data into their data pipeline solutions.
Matt is passionate about building quality solutions that can easily be extended as the problem domain expands. His best ideas come to the surface when he is enjoying a cup of Big Trouble from Counter Culture Coffee.
