The Problem

While we have seen an improved general focus on strategies and tools for improving resilience and well-being for graduate medical trainees, unfortunately the demands on their time related to evening/weekend studying and case-based preparation are only increasing.

Our Solution

We prototyped an application designed to provide specific, contextual case-preparation and study materials for anesthesiology trainees by retrieving information about patient’s medical history using SMART on FHIR . Our goal is to facilitate a customized learning process while reducing the time and stress associated with daily case-based learning.
